I saw a video where they were using/explaining the crawl control and showing how it can get you out of the sand when it was stuck. He noted that the rear brakes were drum on purpose in order to keep the sand, grit and elements out in order to protect them. Not sure if it really helps that much but that was his story so...... I personally was also surprised that they still use drums on the rear.

I can't speak for the Escape, but it was definitely really simple to do in the Taco. It's funny you mentioned the SS Camaro. I've been tossing around the idea of getting into one as well haha.

I might ask my wife for ovtune for my bday in the meantime I'm using the shiftsense pro lol

Ditto to kyal5's questions @LA_Stu . I have a GSXR as a track toy too and I've been renting a U-Haul trailer while wondering if I could fit it in the bed for shorter trips. Looks like loading and unloading it would be a bit tricky.

I actually had then installed by Accessory Outfitters in Beaverton OR, so I'm not sure. I know they did have to order them. It's a great setup. I was debating an in front or behind the grill mount. Definitely made the right choice.

Started working on my roof rack lights. Two 10” S8 bars from @Baja Designs from their Black Friday sale. These are spot lights. I already have squadron pros in wide cornering in my fog light location. So this will give me some good distance light. I made some custom brackets from 1/8” x 1” steel from Home Depot. Need to paint the brackets and then need to make a new fairing with cutouts.

Not sure how far back I like them set. I don’t really like how far forward the holes are on these lights. But I’ll make do.
I had to mount the prinsu cross bar farther back than I had it previously. I may have to make new brackets that push the lights forward after I make the new fairing. Still a work in progress.

Also added the Dashtop Multi-Mount. Love this mod. I added a wireless charging phone mount and love the way this setup works.

Installed a water pump to have some water pressure for cleaning kayaks or bikes. Also hooked up my genesis off-road g-screen to monitor my battery and digital air guage combo.

So with 300+lbs(full hoop steel bumper/winch/dual batt/etc) of added weight up front even with #700lb coils the front sagged quite a bit so i went from a group 31 to a group 35 to help shed some weight

Got my DMM set up the way I want. I'm still deciding how to deal with the cords/power. It would be nice to run power out of site behind the trim. The phone mount is for my wife.

Well, I finally had some warm weather up here in the Northeast so I got to install the EyeCatcher 3D tailgate letters. Does make quite the difference, I think. Oh, and I bought a set of 2016 16” TRD rims. Will be awhile before I buy the sneakers for them, but I’m excited about them.

How do you like these fogs? I'm on the fence about pulling the trigger. Have you had a chance to drive in rain with them? Curious if it helps with the glare.
