Why use Sunbet when you can use Carolina CAT or Blanchard CAT?

Turns out Gen Patton created a desert training center of most all of SoCal desert for the Africa invasion in WWII. His HQ was based near this museum:

Same but today is mine and the kiddos christmas since she goes to her mom's for the actual day this yr.
I hate shopping and wrapping. One yr. I only wrapped a couple then the rest went in grocery bags with paper to hide them. Figured the kid is young enough and this was the fastest way for her to unwrap and get on with the building and opening package stage of the day. I despise that nearly as much.

I'm the only one so it all falls on me. At least this yr mom and the nanny helped the kiddo buy and wrap her presents to me. Usually it's me doing that as well

Because of Florence, we lost a lot of shit.. mostly my kids toys, furniture, and clothing. So thankfully insurance cut us a fat check to replace everything and gave us a $935 stipend just for toys that were destroyed (basically, they said “show us proof you purchased replacement toys and clothes up to that amount and we will reimburse you”). So Jessi and I went hard this year for the girls on the insurance company’s dime. I’m stoked for tomorrow morning!

Plus I’ve been saving most of the year to buy my wife a wedding band (I just gave her a ring and not a band when we got married) so she’s gonna be stoked.

The devastation of Florence and all the stress of having to find a new place to live will be made right tomorrow morning when my kids open gifts.. for that, I am thankful!

    Sorry for getting sappy!

Yea plus we don’t usually do many toys for Christmas because we try to spend more on “experiences” rather than tangible things so I know they are gonna be pumped!!
