so this is a random question thread after a 12 hour shift before a 4:30 morning (on the east coast) but will 255/80r17s create a huge difference in the way my truck feels everyday with 4:56 gears? coming from 265/70r17 bfg KOs. Based on my (probably incomplete) research there is not a ton of resistance difference. truck is a 4.0 auto. i apologize in advance if there is a thread on this but i cant find it through searching. main idea bieng that i want the ground clearance of a 33" tire without the hassle of an 11.5 tire. any help is appreciated, thank you
    respectfully,

You'll be fine with 255/80/17 everyday with 4.56 gears. Heck I'm fine with 255/80/17 on stock 3.73 gears It just depends which brand of tires you have on. Some brands are heavier then others.
