    I'm lucky this doesn't happen often. However, I have learned as long as they're eating and eliminating, not much you need to worry about.

    We brought Athena home today, she was a little nervous driving away from her previous home but we had spent an hour today with her previous family and her so we weren’t complete strangers.
    We got to my parents house where we currently have our dogs (I spent the last week there dog sitting) and she saw Smokey (who she has met once before) and started playing with him while getting to know the other dogs.

    She’s been here all of an hour and she’s adjusting very well.

    We had to use our arms to keep her from climbing in our laps while driving.
