Thanks man! Made it to houston yes, but had to ride with my folks. My damn truck broke down on the way yesterday. S/c belt came off and ate through a coolant fitting so it was spewing coolant everywhere

Well chit, that's not good....easy fix?

 

Hopefully an easy fix. Belt shredded and wrapped around the crank pulley. It looks like all it ate through was the thermostat housing/fitting. Im crossing my fingers nothing else got messed up in the process..

 

Guessing you got it towed to your parents house? Hopefully you can get it fixed so you can make it home. Longest drive you have taken with it, correct?

 

Damn sorry to know about that, we'll at least it wasn't much worse, well just have fun with the family and enjoy get everyone a little tipsy so they can help you with truck

 

Luckily i was only 15 miles from home, so i had my folks tow me back.. ive actually taken it up to wichita falls, that was about 5.5 hrs. This time im not sure what happened. Belt just completely came off and then things went down hill quickly..

 

All good man, shit happens, just crappy timing for it is all.. i think ill be the one getting my drink on now that i dont have to drive anymore haha
