What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

tried to do the BHLM on my 2019.....i ended up with a headlight with 2 broken tabs and a bent up butterknife.....still no Blackened headlights though. what a PITA this has been

 

Yes it is. I bought a broken headlamp to test with first. What are you doing for lights now?

I sold my FJ last year (long story). We've been waiting for the 2019 Tacomas to show up. Wanted a truck bed again. The plan was to buy a white TRD Off Road and put King shocks on it right away and a few other mods.

Ended up buying a Voodoo blue TRD Pro. I know, I could have built the TRD OR for less. However, there were a few things the PRO had that we wanted (didn't need). And we got a good price on the PRO.

Just hit 1000 miles. First mods:
* Predator Steps gone -Demello rock sliders due in two weeks.
* Summitview Rock camera (front)
* Anytime front and rear camera
* Decked bed system for recovery gear
* Caliraised behind the lower grill light bar
* Interior led lights
* Wet Okole seat covers (protect the leather seats from the boxers' paws)
* Rear ceiling bungee net to protect my hat from the boxers
* All weather floor mats

Next are Nitto tires. Researching whether 265/75r16 or 275/70r16 will fit without rubbing on the PRO since its 1in higher and off set is different with the TRD wheels than the OR.

Blacked out my headlights yesterday and pained the cheese grater grill. Love the headlights. Still iffy on the grill.

 

Installed SSO slimline bumper with Warn Zeon 10-S winch and rigid light bar.

 

Does that bar effect the sensor at all?

Added 33 inch tires yesterday and sold the stocks to a T100 4x4 owner. Perfect outcome.

I seem to recall a slim line or similar that had a hitch instead of a winch mount. Does anyone have information on that? It would just make the most sense for my needs.

 

There are several install videos out there, After watching them, it does require minor cutting. Also another thread said they experienced about 1/2" suspension drop. Not bad but any drop in suspension is noticeable on these lil trucks...

I haven't seen a lot on whether it interferes with TSS. I have read it doesn't, but only from one source.

What size tire did you get to fit under there? Did you have to mod anything?
