    so today while riding home from my girlfriends house im chilling out in my truck rocking out to ozzy's new album and i got my radio blastin (to near max volume) and i notice that it sounds like my radios maxing out before its turned all the way up (i still have 8 numbers before its all the way maxed out) its kinda hard to explain but some of you audio experts may know what im saying

    well what im asking is what can i do to fix it

    also nothing is stock except the speaker wire
    radio= pioneer deh-1900mp 50w x 4
    speakers front= 6 1/2 pioneer
    speakers rear= 51/2 pioneer

    i dont think thease have anything to do with it
    tweeters = American thunder audio
    sub= bazooka (?)
    amp= lanzar vibe 360w

    also what can it do to make it louder?

    I've never seen a stereo ever that you could turn all the way up without it distorting first so I don't really understand what the problem is. As for making it louder.... more power seems the answer, 50Wx4 is meh.

    Just so we're clear, you're not actually getting 50x4RMS out of a headunit. That's max power and is a bullshit spec. You're likely getting around 19x4RMS. And what you're hearing is clipping when you try and push past the amount of power that headunit makes.

    Solution is that you need more power and better speakers. Your equipment just isn't that capable and if you want it louder you'll need some of it replaced.

    sell all of that and get some quality equipment if you wanna blast your music.

    Kicker and JL are some top of the line stuff. First thing I would do is ditch the bazooka tube and get a quality sub and amp.

    I have an issue with someone saying that Kicker and JL are top of the line stuff, its mid line at best. I don't mean to slam your opinion. You get what you pay for and sound is very subjective. Don't get me wrong some people love Kicker but IMO they are just loud, no clear quality sound. I have alpine amps running Focals in one of my trucks and its crystal clear even at full volume.

    Also make sure to check out line drivers to increase output voltage to your amp, if you want to max things out

    i sell alll these brands in my store yeah kicker has gone a little down hill over thee last few years but still good affordable reliable product as far as anyone calling jl midline, well yeah they make some mid line roduct but they also make the cleanest sounding line of amplifiers o0n the market today (the hd series amps have been copntinually tested against everything else and always come out on top) if you are really lloking for the best then the only way to look at alpine is old stuff there sound and build quality has sliped more than any brand on the market. over about the past 6 years since the release of the pdx line of amps they arent bad but output power and sound quality are not near other offerings in the price range. and reliability just hasnt been there recently, i hate saying that because i have always been a fan of alpine but over the past few years you couldnt ay me enough to recomend it to one of my customers. of everything available in all of my own cars i run jl amps, jl subs, and focal mids and highs. for information you should never be able to turn your deck all the way up all decks are going to send a distorted signal when you run them that hard using the amp in the dek especially but either way you will start to get a clipped signal coming from the dead unit over like 75% up. so the best way to get it louder is to add amps and adjust them so that your speakers are working as hard as they can with the volume on the deck set to about 75% that will givee you the best sound.
