Had one of those camped next to us at a rv park. Lady opened the door and all we could smell was marijuana.

Maybe that's what they were covering when they did the laundry on this one.. They provided bedding and towels for everything and i think they used 4x the detergent required. Bedding comes in a separate bag, van smelled pretty clean even though she has 186k on her.

Yup.. I was fine with it, just took some airing out so we didn't asphyxiate.

The latches on the rtt.. I need to find where they get them. I want them for mine.

You can probably find them on McMaster Carr. I got similar type latches for a project through them.

Yeah, figured out they are called draw latches. Looking for something easily adjustable, lockable (just for a pin for extra security to prevent it from opening from vibration). Also need something with a bit of variance built in since it won't be a flat plane with the top of the tent overlapping the bottom.

Not by the tent though so i don't know the measurements needed.

One of the latches on this thing popped open while on the road, but it's a beat up tent and the rivets holding the latch on have a bit of play...needed a bit more tension on that one.

They look like smaller versions of the one on my camper....

let us know if you find some smaller ones as they two side latches can get in the way of the awning.

Bunch of them on here. There are also slightly different style ones on the Amazon.

I'll probably put a metal backing plate on the inside of the tent, don't want to fasten it to only the fiberglass.

@Stig just go to an rv website, they use those to hold down pop up campers and keep slide outs in while moving. Pretty cheap too
