I run 91. It's so bad i'm gonna do the math next time myself to see if this thing's accurate.

2017 TRD Pro Auto, stock tires, BAMF sliders, and Snugtop: 1.05 91 is running perfect and light years better than the latest TSB.

IMO Matt knocked it outta the park with 1.05

    Our 4runner 4.0 had 270hp vs the Tacoma 4.0 @ 238 ?

    Never understood that.

I'm on 1.04r with a Leer shell, tent, roof boxes, lift, 32" e-rated tires and sliders and I'm still getting 15 mpg. 12 seems crazy low.

Maybe I am missing it but does the software work on Mac computers? I apparently need to buy a new laptop before I register and I'm looking into a Mac

You can run an instance of Windows10 on your Mac using the Parallels Desktop app, but doing so may require some minor tech skills. It's fairly easy to do, but I'm not sure what your tech comfort level may be.

AFAIK, even the new version of the flash software that's due out any day now will require Windows, but I could be wrong?

No need to spend money on parallel... Just use bootcamp that's built into MacOS and install Windows 10.

Just search for bootcamp and follow the screen from there, pretty straight forward.

If you have less than 128GB storage I wouldn't advise it. 512GB minimum then your can allocate am even split for Mac and Windows if you want.

Fair point. I keep forgetting that Macs no longer use proprietary hardware, so Bootcamp is probably the better/easier option.

    PS: I hate Apple. :D

    Sounds very similar to me.
    I'm running 275's with a 4" lift.

Nice truck man. I'm running 32's and still getting avg 17.5 but I think it's off a little. I'm gonna do the math next time to.

Out of curiosity... how many of you on 1.05 have gone 4 wheeling in the rocks in 4low? I have and it seems like engine braking is very weak.
@OVTune can the engine braking be increased in just 4low and remain the same in 2hi?

Im not sure the difference between the auto and manual in this truck, mine is an auto, but I rely on engine braking while in 4lo for better control descending technical trails. It was fine before 1.05, besides that stupid fuel cut off thing, but now it just wants to roll away while descending even in 1st gear smode. That makes me need to ride the brakes and it's hard to smoothly modulate that while bouncing around

    Typically 20-23 on the 3.5

Obviously dependant on fuel, driving conditions, etc. but overall it is higher.
