question. I just got the 32" dual light bar from Cali Raised to install in my Avid offroad front bumper guard.... I see that you have made it fit. I don't know how you did it but would love to see pictures because mine just doesnt look like it will fit when i put it up in there.

 

I literally used a rubber mallet and made it fit.

 

so this is what mine looks like... the knobs on the end just doesnt look like it would go in??

 

Partially thread a screw in each side and get one side lined up. Then use a screwdriver or something to gently bend the other tab out until you can just barely get the knob started. Then GENTLY use the mallet to persuade the bar into place. Careful not to pinch the wires.

one last question.... and this might be a silly one but hopefully will save me some time once i start installing... how did you run the LED light bar cable?

 

I have an auxiliary power circuit that i custom built. It sits in the empty area right up by the firewall on the passenger side. Inside my aux box is a relay. Signal wires for that relay go into the firewall on the passenger side and to the custom switch panel I made and installed in place of the cubby down by the clutch start cancel and bed light switches. The aux system and switch plate is detailed in this thread. Hope that helps!

 

Just a heads up... magnuson has a supercharger hit for the 3.5 now!

 

Long time, no post! I just swapped grills to this one and I love it! I also de-stickered the bed sides.

 

Just a quick update y'all (idk who follows me here): I ordered the supercharger kit from Magnuson!

I'm behind in posting the build progress, but I'll get there.

The big update is the magnuson supercharger. I'll try to do a write-up soon.

 

Okay, I really suck at updating this page, but here's the short version:

Magnuson supercharger: Installed Nov '21. 327hp and 289 lb-ft to the rear wheels. Max torque @3600 rpm.
Intake temp gauge moved to pillar along with new boost gauge.

Aux fuse box: 3d printed, lasted for a while, then melted in the summer heat. Re printed with better plastic and then covered in heat reflective tape.

Intake adapter: Printed and covered in heat tape. Made from ABS, connects injen evolution intake to the Magnuson Supercharger.

I CUT A HOLE IN MY HOOD (RaceLouvers RST install): It was getting hot under the hood so I cut a hole. Scariest thing I've done in a while.

Belt cover: Because I cut a hole in my hood, I wanted to protect the pulley on the magnuson from water and snow if I had to park outside. Printed a cover out of carbon fiber reinforced Nylon.
