Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
The overhang is invaluable, but I suggest 12' walls. I know that you realize the cost difference is negligible, but the space is amazing.

Appreciate the idea but I settled on 10' walls due to a few reasons including the look of the building , where it is trying to fit into as well as a height of roof for a future roof extension to a predetermined height at my property line for a firewood storage area

The ceiling in the shop will be vaulted at 5/12 so the wall heights are 10' but the peak of ceiling will be up around 14'

After just painting my master bath vanity which was the 80’s oak... I would I have painted the cabinets before mounting them...LOL
I’m glad I was able to have the vanity on the shop table while prepping, sanding, filling the grain, caulking, and priming and painting. Especially because the cabinets are going to take 3-6 coats depending on color.

At least your floors aren’t in.
But paint them now not after the counters are in.

Hey guys, I need some advice. I ordered vinyl replacement windows and I test fit one in the opening and it is tight! It looks like they made the window exactly to the size I gave them. Aren't they supposed to automatically deduct 1/2" to all my dimensions? Anyways, what's the easiest way to modify my opening to get this window to fit?

No easy way that I’m aware of with a stick built house :(
Unless I’m missing something you’re gonna have to pull the jack studs and sill plate and plane them down a little. Any damage you have to do to sheetrock can probably be covered with window casing

And yes , as @wilcam47 mentioned there will likely be a sawzall involved lol

Thanks for the advice. What do you think about just forcing the new window in with a dead blow hammer?

If there is no wide spans or point loads I would be inclined to remove a side window buck and replace it with a 1" piece
