Between Christmas and my birthday I got a few things I wanted. I didn't ask for much just wanted a few things to help us camping and adventureing.

Most of the stuff I needed to mount my phone securely and a gps

Installed the Tech Deck extreme duty

Bolted down a couple of Ram balls

Got the phone mount in and I have the other arm just need the holder for the GPS

Should be a rock solid mount Christie got me the Magellan TRX7 so my old ass can see the screen easier. It does on road and off road so hopefuly will help all around. Now just need to figure out how to use it.

Also a big thanks to @Wild Crow for helping Christie with getting me the most beneficial GPS unit.

I've been wondering about the offroad GPS units. Will be cool to hear your take on it's usefulness and abilities.

From what I have read so far, you are able to search off road trails, set way points as desired, and plot your own trails. I still have a shitload to learn about this.

Yeah me too. I have tried to understand some of the apps but am too slow to comprehend without someone walking me through it.

I can definately understand that. Most time the instuctions give me a headache. I'm getting Christie to print them for me so I have a hard copy

Same here and I don't learn as well by reading its easier for me to be shown an example and have someone that can help guide me.

You're welcome, she asked for help nicely. How could I refuse? I hope it's most beneficial. We won't actually know until you don't get lost. I know it's a technical challenge but I think you'll manage. Good luck!
