Well if the spray doesn't stop him then at least you can get some pleasure knowing the bear is going to shit fire.... the downside is... well that will be the last thought you ever have

.300 Win Mag TC Encore Pistol my dude. If the bullet doesn’t kill the bear, the blast wave and fireball will. RIP your ears and wrists :D

All joking aside, bear spray works pretty good, I hear. I can’t speak from experience, though.

Ya just make sure you have it loaded and on your hip... friend of mine was hiking and a bear rushed her... firearm was in her bag. She did not have time to pull it out... luckily she was able to scream as loudly as she could and the bear stood up on 2... then turned around and ran away

    same shit as everyone else
I’ve used bear spray once. Although on a large black bear. He really wanted what was in my cooler/kitchen pelican case. He made his way between me and my truck and wouldn’t leave. I was in south central Oregon wilderness and was worried it would start tearing shit apart. So I eased my way over to the tent and grabbed my spray. One slight click of the spray about ten feet from the bear pointing right at his face. He instantly ran. Never saw him again. Although the spray also worked its way into my eyes and I felt like shit the rest of the night.

FYI I work in the B.C. Wilderness quite a lot and see bears daily. Sometimes right underneath the helicopter I’m working on. They just go about their day and don’t give a fuck about you. Just want the food. I wouldn’t sweat it.

Oddly enough we were talking about this at my Christmas Eve dinner. We concluded that it's better than trying to fist fight a bear. I've ran into several bears in CA but never had the need to use the mace as they are typically preoccupied eating the tastier campers

That’s funny AF. I don’t know who I feel worse for, the bear for having to listen to that, or her future husband.

Chick “Bear, I’m going to spray you in the face”

Bear “oh, fawk you bitch, I’m gunna tear the shit out yo kayak now, $hit.”
