    Mugs (unless a stein for mass amounts of German bier) should be nixed. At least that pint glass pictured is one of the bulbous heads and not a straight pint glass. Pint glasses should only be used for water :rofl:

    This is why all my IPAs get only flame out and whirlpool hop additions. The bitterness is much more subdued and I get more the resinous mouth feel taste!

    I enjoyed the gingerbread cookies on the left, doggo enjoyed the apple cinnamon cookie on the right. Goes very well with the Obsidian Stout...

    A trio of smoked lagers. Homebrew smoked Doppelbock on the far right...

    Can't even taste the smoke in my homebrew after sampling the Schlenkerla brews. The oak smoked Doppelbock is nuts.

    I love smoked beers. We recently discovered a semi local brewer in Santa Fe NM that brews all smoked beers. IPA, hefe, dark stuff, you name it. Said he uses actual smoked barley he imports from Germany

    I love them too. I often wonder why you don't see many commercial smoked brews. Very rare to see one on tap anywhere. Next time I'm down that way I'll have to stop in.
