This guy is basing reliability ratings on forums lol. The Toyota is in another realm compared to ram trash lol. These guys are just mad that their transmissions only last 80k miles if they are lucky lmao. Just had a friend with a new Dodge tell me his transmission blew with 75k miles lol. Those trucks fall apart

My dads 18' Ram Powerwagon 6.4 hemi gets better mpgs then my Tacoma does.

I traded my F-250 for a Tacoma a year ago. I have had three other F-250 before that. I can say I do not miss them at all. I am 6'2" 275 lbs and fit in it fine. Yes I do have to duck my head to get in, but now the end of the world. I could drive this thing anywhere. I have also had many days of trail riding for 4-6 hours and it does great for me, my wife, and my 4 year old. Good luck.

The dude says he searched for “problem” and found 5 pages of threads on Tacomaworld. I searched for problems on the RAM forum and got 10 pages lol. Keep in mind, that community is brand new for 5th Gen RAMs only (model year 2019+) and far smaller than TacomaWorld.

Sold the fifth wheel and traded my F350 crew cab dually in on a new Tacoma in June.
Holy hell am I glad to be out of that truck, especially living in the mountains.

.. Oh, and no problems with shifting. No TSP, no OV tune.

The OP hasn't chimed in for the last few pages so let's hope for his sake he's out buying a RAM since it has the best in class interior. I think they do throw in a Florida Georgia Line or Bruno Mars album when you buy a RAM these days.

this  I highly doubt a 3/4 ton gasser gets better mpg's than a stock tacoma. Those trucks are usually in the 12-14 range average at best

I’m curious to know what a 6.4L Hemi gets with 4.10 gears! Probably more like 10 mpgs. Not to mention it’s a 6spd not 8....

    Shit people lie about:

    Pecker size
How good looking their wife is
    Gas milage
    401k balance
    Credit score
Their child's academic or athletic abilities

If you don't need a full size truck why own one ?

The parking and in traffic is crazy where I live .... that pushed me away from a full size truck.

The Tacoma is the perfect size for me. Really liked the smaller Toyota trucks in the past the most.

Less is more for me now.

Yeah, 57% of all Ram trucks are trash. That’s why there’s hundreds of thousands of them on the road and they’re about to overtake Chevy as the #2 spot for full size trucks...

Now you’re just being silly dude. No reason to get so butthurt because I suggested the OP look at, god forbid, something other than a Toyota. Have a nice day.

I know I wouldn’t. I’d be in a muscle car or something with a lot of hp. :burnrubber:

The tacoma's are nice but the driveability is barely passable. I say wait for the 2019 Ranger and buy that. It will drive a lot smoother if you have to deal with any traffic, and will be a lot more comfortable.
