Thanks, man, but I can't go. The only reason I got to do the CMR run this time last year was because everyone knew I was going to be back that night.

It can wear ya down. We lucked out. Did all our running yesterday. We just chilled today. Just got done dinner.

    20181225_182002.jpg

12.5 lb Smithfield Ham. My tummy is full. Now just have some cocktails, dessert then a good night sleep.

Driving to Delaware tomorrow to Mobtown Offroad to pick up my two skid plates and meeting @Montauk17 along the way to pick up the third.

Then it's more relaxing until the 2nd.

Thanks, simple brown sugar, pineapple marmalade glaze. Heat it up for 5 hours and your good to go!

It will become sandwiches and red beans and rice.

I always make my red beans and rice with ham. Been doing it that way since forever. What other meat works as well?

Isn't that the only way to cook limas low and slow with a ham hock!?!
I'll cook my red beans with a ham hock but as far as meat going in the final product of red beans and rice it's andouille.

I just remembered I have some of the zatarans red beans and rice in the camping/emerg. food box threw it on the stove for 2nd dinner. No sausage to go in it but it'll fill me up. Plus for instant freeze dried stuff it's pretty decent.
