We stayed on the first part of the Rustic Loop. Sites 36 and 39 iirc. The lower loop has almost no room between the road and the trees. Suggest avoiding it

I really like mine. The install was easy (especially if you have a second person).I have used it for kayaks, bikes, etc. I would like to do RTT but have not as of yet.

 

Hey, a little question about your Prinsu. How is the wind noise with it?
I've read that some people experience excessive wind noise at highway speeds. Some try to blame it on cut outs in lower corners on wind screen. What say you?



BTW, I understand that "It's a Truck" and "Lift and big mud tires are loud" and all of the "cargo on top of rack makes noise"... Just looking for user's opinion, especially driving with empty rack, etc

 

I don’t thinks it’s bad at all. Nothing excessive but I do have the rubber trim piece.

Yep. After checking out the DCNR website again I guess I should have referred to the sites as they do “motorized campsites” ie the numbered ones along or off the roads. Looking at the map and trying to figure out where I want to explore first.
