Ditto, most alignment techs don't seem to give a crap and the service managers are just trying to push them out the door as quickly as possible. I was lucky and found a tech that gives a crap and spends less time doing the job right than most do to half ass it.

Starting to run into a roadblock here....I got a pair of Tred recovery boards and am struggling to find a place to mount them. The original plan was to utilize the unused side of my bed bars, but the spacing is off and the bolts are too short. I’m planning to get another case for the roof rack so it’s out. I’ve tried mounting them to the bed rails against the cab, but it’s a PITA to get to them efficiently (especially if the bed is loaded down). Anyone got suggestions?

i hung mine under my bed bars for a while, before I stuck them on the roof rack. Had to get creative with mounting hardware, but it worked.

That’s my top option right about now. I’m trying to figure a way to mount them to the inside of the tailgate with an easy/quick way to remove them.

hanging them under the bed bars was neither quick, or easy, but it worked.

Open the tail gate skin. Mark and drill holes. Run a 1/2" bolt through the skin. Put a nut on the back side. Hang the boards and use wing nuts to hold it

I like this. I’m wanting to remove the OEM tailgate cover for a smooth one, so I might just go ahead and find one and order it and have a blank slate if you will.

I had mine hanging upside down under my rack for a while with u-bolts, but it was a dang safety hazard sticking your head anywhere near them. Nowadays they just float around in the bed.

The short wheelbase on the 2 door didnt make for a nice ride. Its running AVEs progressive springs that are good but it sucks on jointed roads and bounces all over the place. I think a 4 door would ride a lot better

Yea, that's the one I'm working on. Probably going to wait till after I get back from Indiana because I don't want to drive that far during the break in procedure. But that means another 1000 miles on the Challenger.

Well ripped all the old decking boards off the deck and found out that all the flashing is completely rotted through... That project is beyond my skill set sadly... So much for an easy deck upgrade.

I wouldn't shy away from it as long as nothing sticks out like a sore thumb for not being taken care of. Go over it really well and get a carfax and go for it. Seems like a decent deal for what it is.

Sorry Skip, we've always used ham. The wife breaks out with pork but ham has the least effect. Sausage is the worst. I bet you would like my rendition.

Yea Scott, I saved the ham bone to make Navy Bean Soup! Another favorite of ours!

That sucks hate it for your wife she's missing out on some good foods. I'm willing to try pretty much anything once but I'll definitely take some of that Navy Bean soup that's one of my favorites.
