Maybe the Tesla owners shout start carrying around a valve stem tool and removing the cores. Gonna look real silly blocking the spot with 4 flat tires they can’t air up.

^Vandalism would be snipping the valve stem with side cutters...

I wouldn’t do it but I also wouldn’t be mad if I came out and saw one with 4 flat tires and a mad as hell driver.

Broken valve stem requires unmounting the tire to replace.

On the contrary...sometimes it’s hilarious. As long as no permanent damage occurs.

Like...using butcher paper to cover one’s tailgate with pro sexual preference propaganda requesting people honk for support.

Or, when your coworker is a notorious prankster and leaves town for two weeks but leaves their vehicle on base and one of the prank victims places said vehicle up on blocks and removes the wheels tires. Then, strategically places them in and around the base for said prankster to locate.

Cutting it off would be damaging it. Letting a bunch of air out isn’t damaging anything. That’s what he’s getting at.

Had a buddy (RIP) back at Bragg who would go out and find the vehicles of jackasses and wrap them every which way with industrial plastic wrap.
Had one SGT that was sleeping in his car on duty and his car got wrapped with him in it.
Mine never got wrapped, I wouldve painted his golf clubs rainbow.

Several years ago, a person (I assume teen) removed 100% of the valve stem cores from the four vehicles in my driveway.

    Did it suck? Sure
Did it piss me off? Yes, but that anger faded quickly when I found all but 1 laying near the tire it was removed from.

It took me almost 15-20 minutes to replace all the vale cores and air up the tires. Ten of those minutes were getting the tools, compressor, and extension cord from the shed to the drive and back. The 1 missing was not a problem since I happened to have a compressor, and not only the tool, but 4 or 5 cores in my toolbox. This would not have been the case for many people.

For me it was a very minor inconvenience and merited no more further action that alerting my neighbors, that I like, of the possibility that they too may fall victim and if that should occur I would be happy to assist. The incident did not even cause me to be late to work, by the employer's standards, by mine however I was just slightly, less than 5 minutes early, late.

Quite likely. That said, 100% of Tesla charge stations I have seen are well within walking distance of 1 or more retailers that do/would carry the required valve cores and tool to install them.

IMHO ... Additionally, if one were a jerk about it and parked in a clearly marked and reserved space, such as a handicapped, expectant mother, police, wounded Vet or Tesla charging station space, they deserve a bit of inconvenience for that which they have intentionally caused. This type of behavior is quite similar to the folks that park at the pumps then go inside buy a scone, coffee, and then site and eat, chat, and relax while drivers are waiting in line to fill their vehicles. :annoyed:

Likely the same back country rednecks that like to video their buddies "rolling coal" alongside hybrids. My daily driver is a plug in hybrid, probably 20% of the time I find regular vehicles parked in a clearly marked charging spot. This is called ''ICE'd" (Internal Combustion Engine). Whether they're doing it to be dicks or just plain oblivious is TBD, I usually assume the latter. Unfortunately many people see charging spots as first come first served (similar to pregnancy, take out order, low emission, etc spots) regardless of drivetrain config. I usually leave a less than friendly note on their windshield & move along :turtleride:

Check with who owns the property as they are almost always near retail establishments. Some - not all - property owners do have a tow policy in place. When Tesla started putting supercharger stations up it was common for the spaces to be ICEd and near us it was by the employees of the retail tenants of the property. We found the property owners information and complained about how our access had been blocked. They posted signs stating that illegal parking there would result in a tow. All we had to do was call the number on the sign and someone was gleefully prompt to arrive and make the grab to tow the offender away. Problem mostly solved itself within a week at that location.

Not always that simple in each situation and my Model S lease has long since terminated but I liken it to a bunch of EVs blocking fuel pumps at a gas station so the occupants can go across the street to sit for an hour and have supper.

And if I recall, there are some very large and obnoxious egg shell “You ICEd us” windshield stickers available still in case you come to the conclusion that 99% of people are just cunts.
