    After 10am and the rest of the House is still in bed. :der:

    The band saw already served it’s purpose this morning. Chopped off part of a spare fuel pump for the fuel level portion of the pump hanger.

    So now I can bolt this to an aluminum piece suspended from the flange.

    I forgot I had this other router bit. So now the diameter is perfect. Not a CNC finish but it’ll do!

    I was worried that I may have I thinned the flange out too much, but I think it came out perfect.

    With the pump sitting in the hole on the gasket, the top plate has about .05” gap to squeeze the gasket down.

    That actually came out with a nice degree of precision. I suspect that the inner portion is to be milleded out as well? In the near future.

    Yes, the underside will be mostly shaved down, leaving a couple thicker areas for mounting the vertical parts that will hold the pumps and the level sensor.

    Take a look at this and tell me if it makes sense. This is how I have the plumbing planned. I have a check valve on the output side of the filter. Not sure if it should be on the output side or input side (or if I even need one?). Thoughts?

    I dont know the system but wont the fpr act like a check valve on the return side?
    I think the fuel pump/s has a check valve on its output but having the extra main one adds another level of redundency.
    This is all speculation though without looking at a diagram.
    What pumps are you installing?
    Can the stock fuel return system and fpr handle the extra fuel return?
    Looks great man! One helluva project with the outcome of plenty of flow, reliable, larger capacity.

    Keep the check valve where you have it. Keep it simple. I take it you will be running a dual pump setup, based on the two -6AN lines.

    The pumps, should have check valves. Either way, the added valve in the line will still help with cranking, by keeping the large lines filled.

    Are you using an aftermarket FPR or the OEM one? The OEM one also does act as a check valve.

    Added check valves are generally because the type of A.M. pump does not contain its own check valve.

    Otherwise, everything is looking good.

    The first one will run at all times.

    The second one will come on when in boost, activated by a Snow 81014.

    The stock fuel return line will be bypassed and a new -6an line will be used for return.

    I’d like to replace the stock FPR with something heavy duty, but haven’t looked into them yet.

    Is the battery in jeopardy of losing its home?

    I don’t know if the AEM have an internal check valve. I assumed they did, but I could add a -6an check valve on each one if needed.

    I’d like to use an AM FPR. I forget, are you running one?

    Any leads on a decent fuel rail? :D

    I am using a Fuel Lab FPR. They have a good variety of choices.

    The fuel rail......may require a bit more machining, or someone with a machine. ;)
