lolz. It doesn't even come up in the search for Home Depot on Google Earth, even though somebody made a sweet 3D model of the store in Google SketchUp. Gurgle Earff has the address as 4501 Jager Way??? No wonder I can't find shit around here.

This would be easier for me. That way I could just stay in my truck and sleep.

I am gonna go shopping for some snacks and some food tonight after putting my shocks on. Then I remembered that I should probably rotate my tires while I'm at it. I have about 5,000 miles on them. So much to do...

Nice, taking care of a few loose ends before we leave

Yesterday I changed my oil and cut off the metal tabs so I could fit a full size spare underneath, then painted the bare metal and let it dry overnight.

Today I checked my tranny oil level, fixed my CV axle which had puled out a little, refilled my front diff (had leaked a little), used hose clamps and galvanized wire to temporarily mount my OEM front skid, replaced my rear tires with the brand new ones, and mounted one of my spares under the bed.

Tomorrow morning, the sliders get welded on. It's a sprint to the finish!

    Awesome Drew!
Here's my check off, and to do list:
Changed my oil, replaced the rear shocks, rotated tires, cut off tail pipe at the axle, added some extra bump stops, cleaned out the truck.

Now got to: pack truck, get spare parts, I still haven't mounted my hilift, and more small things.

I am super excited to get on the road. Busy day at work tomorrow finishing up the week. I have to start out in Fort Worth, Drive to Dallas to our other plant for a while, back to Fort Worth, and then maybe home sometime after that.

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
    That sounds like my list.
The other day it was mounting my CB, painting my special project, and the welds on my sliders, shopping for some extra gear, trimming a little on the front plastic bumper, and starting to pack up camping gear.

    Still gotta do:
Fabricate my highlift mount for the bed, finish cleaning out the truck, prep my pre-prepared food (burritos, sandwiches, etc.), and pack the truck (obviously), and some other small things.

Does anyone know how to tune a CB? I have an antenna like Drew's and need to tune it.

hey man i just got mine tuned like 30 min ago (greg said it wasnt necessary but i did anway), i went to "mesa cb" on Menual and University by the truck stop they are up stares. but i watched him tune it and he hooked up to somethin in the shop and took it apart and watched this little meter while he messed with something. sooo not sure if anyone can do it unless you have the right stuff to do it.

ooo and i guess to tune it you gotta have it out of the truck and take it up stairs to them, its up to you.

as far as the trip goes i pretty much have all my stuff just gotta get food and drinks ready tomorrow, i have my gas can, cb hooked up and tuned, camping gear, few tools (ratchet, jumpers, tie downs, golves, shovel), have my spare in good shape, got an oil change, have my spare tent if anyone needs it. and well i guess thats pretty much everything haha

    Looks good Drew.

I am getting an alignment. I may has to get one before I head home too. Everytime I offroad, I have to get one done.
I also picked up some extra u-joints today.
