The Rock Lights are seeing some changes. It was scheduled for next year but came up a little early on some colors.

The new models are brighter and have a larger housing compared to the older models. My apologies about the confusion and any headaches caused by this.

Is the new housing out already and can you upload a pic of what the new rock lights look like?
Meso what do you think on a BD design... still a possibility?

 

... and in the interim, does this mean an increase in KC version production?

It’s possible he made a full plastic injection mold for it, and now since Baja changed their design it makes his molds useless... and those things aren’t cheep

 

Meso if you want me to test a New version BD prototype out I am ready!

 

I was one of the ones that ran into this problem (possibly the only one lol idk) I ordered my rock lights a while back and a couple of them were backordered. When they did show up a couple weeks ago, I noticed there was a discrepancy in sizes from the new ones and the few that had arrived when I initially placed the order. As a positive side note, the new ones are supposed to be brighter. I think itll be tough for them to fit though, because they are a little bit bigger...

 

Thank God I did not mold it. A blessing in disguise I guess.

How are they brighter, Looks like the same emiter used. Are you just upping up the power?

 

Well, their website says the prvious/smaller version run at 100% power, so....?

 

Well if you have any BD’s made I’d still be interested with the current size. I purchased some rock lights a while back waiting for this lol. If not I’ll just try and return them

The transition has started, it's essentially a Dome Light housing without the switch


I don't have any size comparison shots but it appears a few others have commented above. Working on having more details posted soon

 

The new models put out 400 lumens where the previous version was 208. I'll post more specifics soon.

Any discounts being offered for TW/MESO buyers of the 3rd gen brake light? Especially if Meso decides to make a new mold that will be for 5 rock lights each? I would think that would be discount worthy especially knowing how popular MESO's work is! Maybe a package price for 5 or more lights and we can choose the colors?
