Those posts your talking about were not for you, they were for the other member that they quoted. Not sure if your new to forums all together but when someone quotes what someone else says, then they are replying to that person only.

When you go in person you can negotiate for lower than that as well.

Read the fine print on the “WOW” price...same thing I found when I found great deals around NOVA.

Hi again, I am up in Canada so my prices are in Canadian dollars (aka US MiniDollars). I thought percentages would be more meaningful...sorry for the confusion. By the way I picked up my truck today and am loving it...not sure I'm keen on the fob thing but will adjust to that as well as all the techy stuff. My first new vehicle was a 1981 BJ42 that was pretty deluxe (I had a Warn 8000lb winch!) and my friends had the old Toyota trucks (gen 1?) so I am still pretty amazed at how advanced these new trucks are. Cheers!

Don't ever underestimate the value of your "old" Tacoma.. I had a 2005 OR AC 2wd with 135,000 well maintained miles on it. Dealers offered me $9000 trade-in, back in 2016 for my new Tacoma. I sold it privately in 2 weeks for $12,500 from my asking price of $12,750....Granted, it was in mint condition with all repair reciepts, etc.

Yep...my post was in error...I responded to the person and then reread his post and it was for that person. Yeah like I mean...a percentage don't mean anything unless it involved numbers. That is what I told my wife and kids...I do not care for the % off...what is the original price.

To the above poster...glad you got what you felt it was worth. And BTW I never save receipts...as I do most of it myself. Maybe this should teach me a lesson to save receipts if I went to dealers.

I have abandoned the 2018 Tacoma's because there are very few around now. But the WOW price seem a good deal...not sure of the color though.
    Thanks.
