Should have bought a GMC

I like black vehicles. Have an 18 limited black of course.Should I do the wheels,bezels.name plates,mirrors,etc,etc,etc in black? Saw a GMC black today. Yep ALL black from the factory. Looks rich and custom. GM used to have a lot of people that carried white canes on their design team. Obviously some of them got jobs at Toyota. DEAR TOYOTA: We love the reliability,engineering and resale of your vehicles. Please hire some people with a sense of aesthetics to do the colors and trim combinations. GTS Bruce

So you bought the chromed out trim and now you are here to complain about chrome?

 

BTW chrome comes in colors if you must have it. Maybe hire a consultant from PininFarina or possibly myself which would be much cheaper. Love Italian style and yes I have a PininFarina design car. The problem is that in Japan and some other places you view a car when standing practically right up against the car or object. Need someone from a place with space and a sense of style to smooth out the view from a distance which is how we view them in the US

I love my Taco, but I wish I had denali interior. Hell, even the 4Runner interior. It's pretty expensive for so many plastic parts that scratch easily.

 

Do you also realize you bought a mass produced mid-sized truck, not a coachwork luxury car?

I bought a limited for all the other creature comfort stuff and tolerate the unnecessary use of garish chrome. Then again I could have gotten a silver truck and the chrome wouldn't stab you in the eye as much.......

 

I'm curious why you bought the Limited? I wanted leather seats BADLY (factory, not aftermarket covers) and even though at the time, the Limited trim would have been my only option for said leather interior, I had to pass because of all that chrome.

 

Buys the ONLY model decked out in chrome, complains about the chrome.

 

I do like my black firearms. How stupid would they look with chrome trim?

 

No you couldn't give me any GM product unless I could immediately turn it into cash

Guess you should of bought a decked out sport, same options as limited. But no chrome.... Color match door handles, mirrors, etc, etc, etc....
