How many sensors you have per bumper? 1 or 2?

1 and 2 are the same thing. Those are the rear parking sensors.

Is there a way to clean without disassembly? I’d rather not touch it until I’ve look at all my options.

What taco model you have? Does it have the icons on the mirrors?
Just hose off really good that area under the truck and check again. Clean and polish that scuff and go to another dealer.

just shove a hose in there. Mud got there not by disassembling the bumper. The way it got there it must come off.

IF OP has a BSM error he has the indicator on his mirrors.

To be clear the sensor needs cleaning your mirrors can be dirty as hell and it still function, you may not see the light light up, but it will function.

From the article I linked :

In these cases, restoring the BSM to proper operation is as simple as cleaning any dirt or debris away from the sensors. Simply locate the sensors for your vehicle and clean any mud or other debris away from the area. Proper operation should be restored after turning off the vehicle ignition for a few seconds and turning it back on to re-calibrate the sensors.

Edit: The article is only like 3 or 4 paragraphs. Common cause of the error = dirt and junk

I noticed the pun when I posted it, but was trying to convey serious advice. I do it so infrequently it feels wrong.

Base OR that doesn't have tech or premium package... Not sure why that's hard to believe. But if you want a pic, I can get one I guess.

Well I cleaned it off as best i could and it still wasn't working.. or at least I thought. As I live only where there are 1 lane roads I drove around after but was still throwing an error. went on a road trip this weekend and when I got on the freeway i turned on BSM.. it made a few beeps and started working.

Im guessing that it needed to see other traffic to recalibrate itself, which wasn't happening when I drove it around town locally.

Dealer still hasn't called me back.. but kinda scary that they were so quick to blame me and charge me 1100.00 for what seems like was just a cleaning needed.. insane!

when I do talk to them ill let them know they were wrong in just about every way possible..

anyway.. if someone else has this problem, after cleaning make sure you jump on the freeway to test it.:)
