Been searching all over but can't figure out how to get the headrests out of my backseat in my double cab. Do they pull right off or does the plastic panel on the back of the seat need to be pulled off?

If I need to pull the panel, how do you do it? Can't seem to figure this one out.

Haven't had rear headrests since the day I bought my truck. Sitting on my garage shelve. They block your rear view. Design flaw.

There are actually storage spots for those removed headrests when you fold the seats down too.

Same here. Unless you carry passengers in the back on a regular basis, those headrests are terrible for rear vision.

I just keep them folded down and vision is ok.

How much viewing out of your back window are you guys doing that the headrests impede that, that much?

I like to know what's going on behind me, so I'm glancing back there every minute or so. Good viability 360 degrees makes for safer driving.

The middle is the only one I leave detached for better rear visibility. I keep it in the cubby behind the seat back just in case .

Two carseats in the back seat meant I pulled them day one. Those passengers dont need that head support during a crash. They wont reach that high up for years.
