What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I'm thinking most important parts for the deadening are the doors, back of cab below rear window, and the roof. Sounds right?

 

I feel you there, it's the difference between a door that thuds closed firmly and door that makes a hollow rattle while you drive and when you close it you wince because it sounds like something is broken.

 

It's a shame we didn't get the Land Cruiser pickups here in the States. Could you imagine Land Cruiser quality design and engineering going into a pickup??! I would love to own one someday. Maybe the 79 series, eh?

 

I'd love a 70 series, utility and quality, plus coil sprung solid axle front. That's all I need.
