"eventually" is subjective. I signed a contract that also said I'd be paid. Not a free slave. Currently slaving for free right now (no one would join me in striking). And USAA wants to charge small interest rates on paycheck loans, which also hard pulls your credit. I am fortunate enough that my dad is going to give me an interest free loan until we get that magical back pay.

So, took the Taco to Battlefield Toyota in Culpeper today for the 15K checkup. They had Voodoo Blue TRD Pros on the lot, one Tacoma and one T4R. Not sure about that color yet...IMO it looks great, but then I immediately had the reaction of knowing I would get tired of it after a few months.

Anyway the T4R was normal price, but the Tacoma had a $5K markup. :facepalm:I guess that snorkel is made of some precious material? I'm sure these dealerships will get their money from the markups, I just wish folks weren't falling for it. I mean, I get it...just don't agree with it.

I drove by there the other week, idk that color is too blue imo. but to each their own. I also hated quicksand when it first came out and it grew on me quite a bit.

I really don't know how I feel about Voodoo blue TRD Pros. In pictures it looks good, but in person they look kinda like smurfs with vapes/breathing apparatus.

Exactly. Everyone was calling the Calvary Blue a smurf color, but I find the Voodoo Blue much more smurfy. And now I will go haze myself for using the word smurfy in a sentence (twice).

I looked at a voodoo blue in WInchester. That color doesn't look like it was made for someone who would drive that truck every day. Its just too much. and remember I have a quicksand.

The Voodoo Blue was pretty popular with the FJ Cruiser set IIRC... I agree with you that it seems like an eccentric color not really intended for the larger Taco audience.

I do think that Quicksand and even Calvary Blue are good colors for the Taco.

Maybe it was because of the lighting that I saw the voodoo in, but it was much darker than any FJ I've seen. Also, not a fan of the gloss black trd wheels with it, make the truck look super tacky. I saw it in the TRD PRO badges so the red letters/gloss black wheels and bright shiny blue was just to much for me.
I obviosly like the quicksand, not a fan of Calvary blue on on anything.
If anything they should have kept speedway blue, and i dont think im the only one with this opinion lol

Not familiar with the Speedway Blue...I will have to educate myself.

Edit: I concur! That is a great color.
