Anyone ever slap some pro foglights in their trucks? If so post em up. How difficult was it? 900C2187-B6E0-4931-BB66-915D04750E9F.jpg

It was generally pretty easy but pulling off the original Fog Light bezel clips was a bit of a pain. One of the videos on you tube shows the guy using a screwdriver to pry them off ... I don’t recommend that method.

Plug and play. Take out stock fog lights and unplug, plug in new trd fogs and push in black bezel.

As the other poster said, don't pry them off. Reach from behind to unclip them. Not super easy, but if you work at it, they come right off. 2 out of 10 difficulty.

What do you guys think of the light output with them are they a big upgrade over the stock ones?

I think it would really help with the look of my truck but I’m not sure it’s $500 worth. What do y’all think? C0A01C69-11EE-4758-972C-B7A0CEA6EA23.jpg

Nah... anything DOT approved has limited output. More of a color difference.

I got them mostly for looks....light output is good for how small they are. VA is really big on failing aftermarket lights on state inspection. F96B31BF-2C03-4DF3-93E0-A42A63BC82B8.jpg

If you have Instagram. They pop up frequently on overlandmarket IG. That’s if your patient enough.

Check the Baja designs fog lights. Also plug and play. I like the looks of the BD but just personal preference. I’m sure those ridgids are nice too.

People like to hate on them, but I run Baja Design Squadron Sports for fogs, if you’re super worried about output you’ll probably be disappointed with most “approved” offerings. For what it’s worth BD is releasing approved fogs shortly, might be worth waiting.

Like many on here, I have the Rigid TRD Pro fogs. They were reasonably easy to install without removing the grille, though removing the grille can make the lights install faster.

If you elect not to go with the OEM TRD Pro assemblies, member @crashnburn80 has an excellent thread about all the options available for these trucks found here

I personally like how the Pro lamps look compared to the square pod style as I find most of the plates don't integrate them well into the look of the truck, but the Pro lamps are not the mind blowing upgrade I had hoped they'd be. Some members have had good luck replacing the TRD Pro assemblies with the Rigid SR-M units as the non-DOT assemblies are alledgely superior in output to the DOT assemblies due to power limitations.

Super easy to install. No need to remove anything other than the foglight bezel.

Newbie here. Is there a market for these original TRD Pro rigid fog lights? I have a 2019 TRD Pro but installed a new bumper and will be adding some Baja Designs that fit the look of the after market bumper. I just have the brand new factory rigids in my closet. Practically brand new (truck has 500 miles on it). Just don’t know where to post to see if there is any interest.

Light output is adequate. Not too bright, but bright enough to make a difference
