Thank you for posting the info, my truck also has the 4.88 gears and all of the armor is on order so it's great to hear that it is still possible to get 17mpg with that configuration. I will also be adding a 34gal fuel tank on the 3rd of January so this truck will be quite heavy.

I just finished driving from Phoenix to dallas today on the first version of 1.05. My average speed was 70-80mph, I have 33s and a prinsu rack. Averaged 15mpg.
Also I stayed in 5th most of the time. It would hit 6th on the flats and downhill. Rarely used 4th. Just had it in D without ECT.

I live in Tigard and work in Gresham, I saw a nice MGM double cab on 99 a week or so ago, was that you?
Can't wait to get the 1.05, on 1.04 it thinks its Toyota 86! Shit, now with 1.05 it'll think it's a LFA, not as fast, but way more capable!

I would love to have my truck defaulted to ECT on all the time.
    More power, more fun!

Wootage. I'm guessing it won't drop until tomorrow, but I brought my laptop with me to work today, just in case.

Sorry another stupid question that has been asked a million times, how do know when we "get our copy"? Will you tell us on this forum, or direct person-to-person email? Want to know if I need to keep checking this forum every 6 hours, it's fun reading all this stuff, but i just want my 1.05!

No direct evidence in Mat's posts/blog.

Just me pissing and moaning how it affects engine braking consistency.

Is today the day? Early release? :fingerscrossed:

I would assume the 1st post would be updated w/ a new Flash Manager
to retrieve the latest tune. His site should have something as well.

I believe he said he would post it on his site and I would suspect here on the first page. There should be a link for a flash manager that you can DL the file from....

Historically, no email. Mat will make a post, and update the 1st post. He should also update his blog at https://www.ovtuned.com/

Im not a big fan of how it works. Mostly 4wheeling .
And call me crazy, but I think all the.... issues...we all hoped the tune will fix are amplified while in 4L
    Throttle response
    Poor shifting
    Engine braking
