in! I made my first attempt at a "route" yesterday via google earth pro. I'm going to make a few more and maybe string some routes together.

I've got this route mapped out but for the most part unexplored. @chad_chinchilla and I only got that top loop done in a day because of snow.

new chatter on your thread pooped it up on main TW....then i found myself scrolling through the story of your build. This is a sweet, purpose built, functional truck that progressed with what you were throwing at it. Nice job OP, keep it up!

It also looks like started dropping main dollars when you found TW and met friends with Tacomas....its like a REVERSE support group haha

So what’s going on with it now? $1200 is less than what you spent for the new welder and shit right?

Dude they said to fix the second error code was $1200, on top of the $755 for the first error code. The machine is like 15 years old. Who knows how many times I’d have to throw money at it to keep it running. Plus it’s overkill for me. Was just gonna go with it cuz it was a gift. At this point I asked if Welding Supply wanted to keep it.. They said no. I gotta go back there and pick it up, most likely scrapping it.

As far as new welder cost miller is having a big fall/holiday rebate on top of CyberWeld discount. The miller 211 was like $1400 marked down to $1200 with a $200 rebate so basically a grand. Than they had a rebate on accessories on the same order.. so I got the aluminum spool gunand some other stuff to make $500 cart to get another $200 off

This post has me stoked for June! I booked a site a few weeks ago!

Insane Trip, would love to be there for the next one!

Quoted this because I looked over the thread trying to find where you made the sweet spigot for the water lol

Also, as always another epic trip

    Thanx bud!

I’m not sure if I took pics doing the gravity spigot in the Jerry can..
I researched for gravity fed water spigot for a few days and found a lot leading twords rain water collection and 55 gallon drums. But I found most were using a “bulk head fitting” to tap the drum and allow spigot access to the water. Simply enough was at the hardware store and asked them if they had a bulk head fitting for a spigot and they did. That’s the main component, just pair a spigot with it. I tried to get it as low as possible to get to the last drop of water in the jerry can if needed. With the threaded washer I think I was about an inch off the bottom. The entire can drains very well. To allow good flow I open the breather on the jerry can cap. I’ll snap some pics when I get home..

Awesome! Any pics are appreciated! I love that you don’t have to unmount it to get water out
