Whats money got to do with anything? Can't afford the gas to get there? It's a meet in a parking lot. Im planning on trying to go but won't be spending any money except for maybe on some raffle tickets if it's worth it.

 

Maybe he’s saying he only has truck money and not “rig” money

 

I planned to check it out too. They've got a few things already lined up for the raffle.

 

He also said the raffle will be for 2 bundles of items. Didn't sound like individual items are getting raffled. He's going to post up what the bundles are going to have in them before the meet.

The coffee for the event is being done Daniel who ownes The Jade Bean who helped start the East Texas Toyota Owners with myself and one other when he moved to Tyler and was President until he moved to DFW and then I took over as President. Really great guy and has a great Troopy and is currently working to buy a trailer out of an old Troopy body. I would love to make it to that event, but that is the same day as the Wilderness First Aid course I am signed up for which starts at 8am in Arlington.

 

Isn’t Tembo the same dude you got into a huge ordeal with earlier this year? Lmao

I was pointing out something about the event and a friend that is sponsoring the event with his coffee... so what is your damn point?

Yup, just in the lot. Its like a cars and coffee but for rigs! I wouldnt be surprised to see people go to top golf after though. I wont since I cant golf anymore. I'll just head over to a friends place near there or head home after.

Found a new to me spot in Denton off of 380 with tons of trails. Since we just had a lot of rain it was pure slush with lots of standing water but nothing my buddy in his 2wd tacoma couldn’t do. If anyone wants to meet up and go sometime let me know! We asked a cop who we saw down the road if it was legal, and we were told it’s public land owed by the county so we won’t get in trouble for being there.

 

That doesn’t sound right, but I don’t know enough to argue.

At least, nothing in DFW is like that.

I understand, but still, cops around here write expensive tickets, tow your truck, and generally don’t fuck around.

 

Wherabout on 380? (Not that I have a truck anymore, but I do work just off of 380)
