I bought a set of four dealer pull off tire/wheels from a private party over 18 months ago. I put these on my truck last week. I've read where my TPMS monitors would need to be switched to new wheels to avoid the dash warning light from coming on. I have done nothing to deactivate anything or switched anything. Was there a thread I missed about no need to change out to new wheels? No change to spare tire. I dropped these off at a tire shop last summer to check that they were balanced, that was it.

Thank you, don't follow or check into many of the topics. Sounds like I have not driven continuously enough yet. Nine miles to town every 4 to 5 days.

You're welcome, happy to be helpful. The less you read about other people's Tacoma complaints, the happier you will be with yours. But there is a lot of good info here as well.

Yes, I agree. Gotta be 10's thousands out there, what small percentage have a issue.
Headed out tomorrow to meet some others for a winter campout here in Kalifornia.

Dash light finally came on at about 50 miles, was starting to think it needed 40 miles or more of continuous travel to go on. New, stock tires did great in two wheel before using 4H this weekend in deep snow going to a group campout.
