My wife had some nasty sinus/cold type stuff going on for a few days. She couldn't take anything because babies so she was miserable and has never taken a sick day but had to because of that. Luckily, I have not had anything, but friends in WI had it sweep through the whole house, in less than 24 hrs all 4 had it. A buddy in FL is coming up this weekend and said hes coming down with a cold... Keep that ish to yourself!

We keep AirBorne around the house and as soon as anyone exhibits any sign of being sick we start taking it. Stuff really helps to either ward off colds or reduce the duration. Walmart has a brand called AirShield that does good, too.

Edit: other way around. AirBorne vs AirShield

I get my hands on fluids and anti-nausea meds. Usually kick whatever it is in a day or two.

That would be handy, being a nurse or a medic to have access to that kind of stuff.

Usually a sore back. She’s a cardio thoracic intensive care RN...which means she has to lift comatose people to bathe them...a lot of them are usually fat fucks who’s heart gave out.

Oh geez, I can't even imagine. Gives you a renewed appreciation for the jobs the nurses have to do to hear things like that.
