It's good, and its potent. I have 2 bottles unopened in my cabinet. I've had plenty and the box makes nice planters for the wife every spring.

Good flavour for being so potent, don't let it sneak up on ya

I've never had the Noah's Mill, but the Rowan's Creek is the only bourbon that I have poured down the sink. Terrible.

Yup, about 120 CDN here. Which is close to 80 USD...but the box, planter box...you guys are completely missing the value of this offering!

My sister is the office manager for them so she'll kick my ass if I say anything but Herman Marshall. Distilled in Dallas and currently only sold in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. It really is some good stuff. Very smooth. She brought me a bottle when she came for a visit last Christmas. If it were available here I'd drink it regularly. Until then I'll stick with Crown Royal.

Easily my favorite bourbon overall. The best batch I've had is 2015-01 - "Big Man, Small Batch". That 2018-02 - "Backyard BBQ" is really nice, too! I had some while cooking the Christmas prime rib this year :D.

    20181223_122402-01.jpg

And when I say it's my favorite, it's more like I'm a little obsessive over the stuff.

    20180927_214640-01.jpg

There are two more Little Books and two more Booker's since then!

I'm still undecided on what to do with the empty boxes:
    20180927_214931-01.jpg

This bottle has been my tree topper for a few years on the whiskey tree:
    20181205_200717-01.jpg

The ornament has real whiskey in it, but not Booker's. I couldn't bring myself to sacrifice an ounce of that goodness ;).

    20181205_221058-01.jpg

Good chance you are going to LOVE that stuff and make it part of your quarterly whiskey hunting (they do 4 batches a year, now). I can usually find it for $60-65, so it makes it a little easier to buy more frequently.

Looking forward to hearing what you think about the Backyard BBQ!
