Can you point me in the right direction? I don't mind spending a few more bucks to ensure there are no issues down the road... outside of that, nothing else is needed or recommended?

    EDIT: this? https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-8536125-toyota-8-clamshell-bushing-eliminates-needle-bearing.html

I'm doing the ECGS after the new year as well... https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-8536125-toyota-8-clamshell-bushing-eliminates-needle-bearing.html

I think someone on here has the removal and install tools, perhaps we could borrow those.

Edit: I have vibes from the front at lower speeds and especially when I do 90 degree turns into places. Not sure if that is the needle bearing, so I am going to do the ECGS bushing install just in case.

Yep, that! Buy the bushing. The install tool can be rented from autozone. For removal tool, a few people in here have it you could ask to borrow. @PyritePirateBill @Rome604 @RobP62 are people I know with it.

You’d also need 2 quarts of diff oil, two new crush washers (can get you part numbers in a bit) and a new seal handy, in case we need it. All in all it’s about $100 extra to do.

Yep, I was planning on doing both diffs for an oil change at the same time. I have the crush washers in my garage already waiting to go, and I was going to grab a new seal when I buy the bushing. So, can I join the install party with you and @BFRT_King Ranch? :D

I am hoping to have my wife get my truck to @EatSleepTacos prior to me getting back in February, but knowing my wife and her busy schedule, I doubt that happens... So realistically, I won't make it his place until February sometime.

Make sure you do the rear leaf pack at the same time, or else you get a wicked bro lean.

Hell yeah... only coming from Raleigh too. Not like it's coming from the left coast.

Well, red sky at night and all that jazz. What’s everyone’s weekend plans? Anyone maybe possibly interested in some camping?

@BTHawk @BFRT_King Ranch I have the removal tool if y'all don't wanna buy it. I won't be needing it.

Edit: I also have an extra axel that just needs to be threaded and 2 axel seals.

I have the worst luck with dealers. My first service another dealer gave me 3 minor scratches and on my moms audi i have had an issue with 3 of the local dealers.
