When you say fender trimming. Are you referring to. Removing flares- trimming the actual fender and reinstalling the flares?

Yep. Had to trim both the actual fender, and the flare

Nope, I'm in the buy twice, cry twice gang. I'm on the OME medium kit with 3/8 top plate spacers. Eventually I'll upgrade...

I'm running 285/70r17's with an OME lift and plan on eventually going to 35x12.5's once I get a replace the front coils, a new front bumper and re-gear the truck.

Are those aftermarket flares? Bushwhackers? I see they are studded or just removed factory?

Took the flairs off a few days before for trimming and broke 1/2 the clips. I still need to get something to replace them.

275/70/17 because the size difference between these and 285/70/17 is minuscule yet without the hassle of making the 285's fit on stock suspension.

Wheels have 4.75" backspace and after minor trimming they only rub slightly (on plastic, never on the cab mount) when full lock and suspension stuffed. (which happens once in a blue moon here in Florida)

yah, my 1yr-old will inherit this truck, so I want the tranny to last. The loss of power from big heavy tires on these trucks is no fun IMO. These are 10" wide and I have no issues, they cut through the snow nicely
