    Yes I am,
About to hit 175k never left me stranded 8yrs and 130k done by me.
I get that a vehicle is a object but some things you would just hate to be without!
I spend more time in my truck than I do the wife!
I enjoy spending time tinkering on it and even my time doing jobs that suck!
It just got a new frame along with body mounts, rack and tie rods both inner and outter, lower intermediate shaft and rear billistien shocks.

If you don’t love it you don’t take care of it.
If you don’t take care of it you replace it!

Its a truck. I have no feelings whatsoever with it. I take care of it, I like driving it and I hope it lasts for a long time. But, if it gets totaled or something happens to it, oh well.

Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
I get it. My Taco is new to me, but the 07 4runner which I refuse to sell has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. I've owned probably a dozen cars and none of them have made it over a hundred thousand. [Read as US based autos.] My 4Runner is the first Japanese vehicle I've ever owned and it has been there rain or shine snow sleet or hail. Currently at 131000 miles still runs like the day I bought it. It truly is an impressive machine.

Well, my Tacoma just reached the 300,000 mile mark and, like it or not I am 'attached' to it. We all get attached to inanimate objects in our lives. My wife and I built our house, if it were destroyed tears would be shed. I lost the hammer I framed our house with, I almost cried. Yes, I would 'mourn' over the Tacoma if it were totaled. It survived two deer collisions and a few other accidents. Sure, I would move on and get another truck, but I would definitely miss this one

I'm definitely attached to mine. As my neighbors can attest, I'm always outside doing SOMETHING to my truck. My neighbor to the left always says im going to wash the paint off my truck (jokingly - and I don't even wash it THAT much). I've customized it how I want it and made it mine and appreciate the work I've put in to it. With that said (as I learned after totaling my last Tacoma), all of that work can disappear in the blink of an eye, so that's always a perspective I keep in mind -- a YOLO mentality, if you will. In the relatively short time I'll have the truck, I want to enjoy it.
