I hear those things end up kinking your tailgate cable and may eventually start rubbing the plastic off of the cable. Do you notice any issues so far?
I wish there was a way to incorporate the 3rd Gen tailgate dampener to the 2nd Gen.

Right on. That looks very practical. Does it sag into your view or can you tighten it up to stay above the rear window.

    Added Meso's Gasshole:D

I first checked that I could remove the screw, as it seems some have had a rough time getting that out.

its a Kicker 10 inch comp c thin profile sub with a kicker CXA300.1 amp. I had to remove the back plastic from the rear seat and remove the 2 child seat anchors but it fits very nicely now.

Haven't had any trouble so far it does seem like it will kink the cable it even says you have to in the instructions. Don't think it will rub the plastic off though if it starts to i'll probably just put some tape for it to rub against.

Def wreaks the cable and you have to guide it to the left side so the gate will close properly.

Lights look great. Which ones did you go with?
Probably because they haven't updated their site since 2011 :D

Got my Sony XAV-AX1000 installed. The metra mount gave me a few difficulties but after a few tries the unit mounted up perfectly.F30FE510-25D3-49D9-95EA-8A656FC571CA.jpgF26977A7-300D-4CC0-A58E-440297AF5230.jpg

So far it sounds great. Definitely satisfied with it for the price. $280 from Crutchfield with hardware included. Just be sure to have some wire connectors as they are not included.
