Those are all solid reasons. Very solid. We just got back from Mexican Happy Hour....it's time to start here as well. Weather is going to get worse. There is another reason.

 

OK, @Bigdaddy4760 , I'm really not thrilled, but I just don't have the capabilities I used to. So, best I can do is the concept of what I wanted. If it's good, someone would need to build it for real, as this is "by hand". Thanks for the opportunity tho! Would have been fun if I had my old work software I loved.

Great times for all right now in that respect. Don't know if it's had a big impact on Twistycharged type fuel but Regular here is pretty low priced.

Y'know, I read through a thread where the OP was asking whether or not it was worth s/c'ing his Tacoma. Inevitably, someone chimed in with their opinion that adding F/I to a Tacoma was dumb and the OP was better off buying a new truck. That's fine, a person is entitled to a reasonable opinion, but I'll tell you this much:

I've never had as much fun driving a regular ole passenger vehicle as I have my '14 Tacoma. It'll surprise my passengers, drivers of other cars and trucks, and can handle itself in any situation. Besides, there is a charm associated with driving a slow vehicle, fast.

 

I'm addicted to the sound.........and it ain't comin thru the speakers like an F150.

I had two work trucks, a F-150 and a Dodge Ram. I expected the Dodge to be a hunk of shit. I was wrong. After almost 70k miles in two years, the only two problems I had were a broken multifunction switch and a small tear in the side of the driver's seat. It wasn't the most comfortable truck, but did it's job and did it well.

30k mi into the F-150's life, the transmission needed work and it was on it's third battery. At 50k the front brakes "desintergrated" (service advisor's exact words), and third battery died. There were other issues sprinkled throughout. The Ford was a bit more comfortable than my previous Dodge, but I began to wake up every morning wondering if the ol' girl would start.

 

Once the temp. drops up here you start watchin what's on the hook. What's gettin towed more often than anything else I see is F150's. Now I know it's not scientific or nothin' & I'm sure there's a lot more F150's out there then anything else but if it's true it's a big bad on Ford as they used to do Cold weather testing here. Just sayin'...
