I keep thinking of picking one of these up for my 300 blackout.
Sold my Eotech and got a meprolite mor for my ar pistol... way better.

 

I sold all my Eotechs after the whole story blew up. Would mine have worked under my operation conditions? Probably.
But it just didn’t sit right with me they way they went about it.
I put this Vortex on the 300blk pistol. It’s a great FOV, but remember it’s bulky and retinal takes getting use to. I still love my red dots (MRO/ T2) on the other 300blks.

 

I love those little mros and aim points. Used them on many a gun

Interesting, I'll have to find my non light bearing 6 series holster tomorrow and see if mine has it, my 7 series holster for my P320 doesn't.

 

I'm pretty sure he bought this for his S&W MP not 100% though

 

Good, my 6 series holster is for M&P so it should have the same thing.

Nice! I started my Daughter shooting when She was 8, Now She is an Investigator and Her Husband is LEO also.

 

Been wanting one for awhile but sl8s are crazy expensive to the point you end up paying 5k after the conversion

Not cheap, but not 5k bad.

 

The company that owns EoTech was knowingly selling the US Military (and other agencies) optics that werent up to par. They suffered from thermal drift. Pretty much that an optic sighted at say 70 degrees and then take out into the desert and 100+ degrees (or arctic temps) would have different POI's. If i remember right the cold temps stuff was the worst. Like sub-zero temps would make it have a like 2 foot difference in POI at 100 yards.

Worse they knew about it for a long period of time and never bothered to tell the Government as required. It was the FBI that discovered the issue and brought it up.



These days I dont recommend EoTech's to anyone. Back in the day it was either EoTech or Aimpoints. Now there are tons of other options that I find to be better even discarding the EoTech issues from the past
