Is it just me? Thoughts on this brush guard

Looks like something you would find mounted to a vehicle that says Policia on the side.

 

lol or an old ass Isuzu or Tacoma with ISIS on the side.

 

Maybe it's used to herd cattle for a new Tacoma commercial, man is that thing ugly

 

Isis appears to prefer lower profile brush guards

 

Dunno, by the time we got close enough to see them, they were usually just a puddle of car parts and meat.

Were it only true.

 

When the 3rd gens came out I knew brush guards would look like shit because of the double chin. Unless they were to recess the vertical bars for the lower double chin they stick out like 2 feet from the upper grill lol.

 

I used to sell truck accessories in a former life. I sold Luverne back then. They ain't always the prettiest, but in general you'll be hard pressed to find products built tougher than theirs.

 

Thats one thing I didn't like about the 2nd gen.

Better than not having it though. The slat armor on the Strykers helped prevent rollovers on a few occasions in the rainy season mud pits.

That's actually a good looking bumper without the bull bars (which you can get it in), but I hear the quality of these things is garbage, so meh.

 

Good for dragging cars in Iraq too but neither were the intended design.
