I support the team. I have stupid amounts of gear. Go to games. Buy more shit every year. IDGAF if someone doesn’t like that I say “we.” You have more important things to worry about in your life besides what pronoun I use when talking about the team I support.

 

I just hate when people say "you didn't go to school there you arent a real fan". Uh? What? Sorry that I decided to focus on my education and not just going to a school I was a fan of their sports? I hear that one a ton being an LSU fan in alabama that went to a local engineering school.

I hear it too. Not even college educated, at least not quite yet, but have always loved Alabama football. Didn’t go there, but am one of the 83560 that own season tickets. I make very good money and very happy not being an Alabama graduate!

 

I see and hear that all the time. Shit gets old. I’ve been a fan of the Dawgs since I was a kid watching Herschel Walker pound people. That’s what I loved about the game. And that’s why I still love UGA football, I love the run game and play defense. I never had aspirations of going to college back then, that was a very different era. Point is I’ve heard people from rival schools say it and I’ve been a fan longer than some of them have been alive yet I’m not a fan because I didn’t go to school there?

I’m not much of an NFL fan anymore but with that mentality how does one become a fan of an NFL team?

 

Iowa state is going to be really really good next season. I love the pirate and like to see the cougs win but the refs seemed to be determined to make sure that they won.

I get that a lot too. So I ask what pro team they support then tell them they can’t be a fan unless they work for the organization or at least have a family member that does.

 

Yeah most of the ones in Alabama arent pro fans at all so they just say nfl is garbage. Since we dont have an in state team here.
