Even if the OP doesn't have the old version in his truck and has the new, there remains the possibility that a new CPS/CKP sensor failed on its own, given that there are inevitably units that will fail in normal usage.

You should have some paperwork for it no? I got a refund on my FJ when I sold it after a few years. And a subaru that I sold after about a year...

Maybe something is different now, but i'd look for a number to call on the paperwork.

From symptom similarity alone, I would get and carry a spare sensor with you along with socket set, if you dont just replace it. Sucks that they aren't helping more, but at least there is a handy (evil) forum of help.

Btw, it's really nice to see the updates, let know how it all goes.

    UPDATE

Last night the truck acted up again no stalling but lacked power and would stumble at 30mph. Towed it to Toyota were they did duplicate it today, and have diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump and have one ordered.

While I'm sorry you are still having issues, I'm not surprised. There is no reason the consumer and their time and safety are given no consideration. The dealer had all the information needed on your previous trip.
    Hopefully this fixes your issues.
