Well I'll let you know that I was your SS, just to satisfy your curiosity. But I'd rather you just pay it forward and put it towards your giftee for next year.

Edit- And let me know how that fire ring holds up; I've given out a couple of them to the RTT crowd now and am considering one for myself, even though I don't have a trendy tent on top of my truck

 

Will do! My next camping trip is looking to be at the end of April so I should be able to use it then. I’ve already packed it away in my gear bin for the trip.

I just got home after a week out of town and opened my @TWSS gift. Wow! I’m speechless, I never expected anything like this. Whoever my Secret Santa is, you knocked it out of the park and your letter was an amazing touch that my fiancé and I both loved. Thank you Secret Santa and God bless to you too.

My awesome secret Santa figured out who my brother was and tracked him down on FB to decide what to get me.

Really glad I was able to introduce you to some new products!! I absolutely love these silipint silicon cups, mugs, bowls etc. I’ve been hooked since I got one in a goodie bag.

It does. At least the person should've said something. I'll just say this. Lesson learned.

 

First off thank you so much. Really sweet item and very unique..my wife even liked it, which is rare for her to dig my bike hobby.

Back in the 80s I idolized those guys. Woody (the one doing the jump) has always been a role model. Martin (on the bike sitting) and Woody were the kings of freestyle on the ground..and Stu (the Redline shirt) was a guy I looked up to when I raced.

I met Woody when I was 11 and had him sign this same ad in one of my bike mags, which I then had hanging over my bed on the wall. He even let me sit on his bike and get a pic with him.

Wish I still had that page, but it got tossed out long ago. So maybe I can find him somehow and have him sign this too

 

What lesson is that? I never understood why people sign up for something voluntary like this and then not follow through, and on top of that go radio silent.

I mean, even if you’re busy or something happened, at least take 30 seconds to communicate that so your recipient isn’t waiting the entire time just to be left empty handed.

 

Nah last two years I did it and had nothing but generosity. I don’t remember what I bought my SS last year but this year I spent some coin. There’s way more good people here than bad.

 

There is a lesson to be learned when participating - the gift of fellowship, the gift of caring, the gift of giving, and finally the gift of knowing that there are plenty of TWers here that will do everything they can to make it right.
