First post! Just purchased 2019 Tacoma yesterday and didn’t want to pay accessory prices at dealership. Looking forrecommendations on where to buy running boards, mud flaps etc.

 

A search online to start, compare prices, read reviews. Then make your decision.

Otherwise its a free for all online. Search truck accessories or Toyota tacoma accessories and several sites come up. Amazon has some stuff too.

 

Bought my accessories from my local Toyota dealership, they actually had pretty decent prices. I got 10% off every thing I bought. Congrats on your Tacoma and welcome to Tacoma World.

 

That’s why I joined. If you just read through the forums you’ll find so much stuff that you never thought of. It’s addicting. If you want something specific just search this forum on the top right. You’ll find info about anything you’re looking for. A lot of members post up links as well in these threads.

 

When I bought my 18, I specially wanted running boards, tonneau cover, black lettering, and weather mats. What I did was simply gave them an out the door offer which included all the accessories I wanted. They could take it or leave it, and they took it. It would have cost me much more if I went back to get the dealer accessories after purchasing the truck separately.

online forums are places are zealous conformity, nazi moderators, and unwritten rules. It’s better to just lurk.

 

Welcome to the TW, congrats on the new truck. Some like OEM assessories, some like the after market stuff. Take your time and do your research for your needs.
