Help me decide on tires

I can’t decide.. help me out.
Toyo open country M/T
Yokohama Geolandar M/T
Nitto Trail Grapplers
Or Falken M/T
Tire size I’m getting are 285/75’s

I live in the PNW so it’s rainy sometimes, I go off-road mostly every weekend but my truck is a daily driver, but don’t really care for mpg’s.
I just want a good tire that won’t leave me stranded.

 

How much street/dirt time does your truck see? What kind of weather conditions do you face?

I have a set of trail Grapplers and they do well on the rocks but aren't great in slick conditions.

 

If you want realistic input you need to describe how you use the truck and what the tires need to do for you.

And divide your pavement time and off road time, not just 'how' you offroad (if you do)

Where you live and the weather you drive in is important too.

If you are just wanting to be a looker, you're on your own.

Overall mileage use ratio of pavement to OR? 80/20? 90/10?

Snow on pavement or snow off road?

What kind of mud? Wet dirt or clay? How deep?

Put these tires through Hell. Falken!

 

Both, but there is more snow off road.
It’s like clay.

 

I went with Toyo Open Country AT2's, but the beach is the only time I'm off road.

 

Those are all good choices. Just pick the one that looks best to you. The Falkens will be the lowest quality out of those choices. Not that there is anything wrong with them though, just materials used and manufacturing process is below that of the others

 

I also have a set of Trail Grapplers. Only set ive ever had but no complaints here

 

Any tires I had that were good in snow and mud were not as good on wet pavement or thin-snow/ice on pavement. Just remember that when driving.

 

Had the Terra Grapplers for years, followed by the Terra Grappler G2s. Found the G2s to be a great tire, especially if it’s a daily driver that only gets weekend off road.
