Some lady totaled my ‘17 T4R off road premium last Sunday and I decided to go back to the Tacoma. I signed the papers on this guy this morning(see below). I can’t take it home until my credit union opens back up Wednesday though, unfortunately. Insurance said I could take my T4r wheels if I put other wheels on it so I’m going to check some junk yards and see if I can find some trash wheels so I can put my trail wheels on the new truck.

    Carnage:

And the new. 18 sport/MT. The step bars have to go immediately, and I’ll debadge and lose the bedside decals as soon as I get it home, but other than that, I think it’ll be a good truck. I think the trail wheels with my brand new wildpeaks off the 4Runner will look sharp. I’ll get the fronts tinted ASAP as well. OTD at 35k, I don’t think they beat me up too bad.

Nice glad you’re still around to get a new vehicle. Obviously they can be replaced but people cannot.

    Hardcore off road floor mats!
Shouldn't insurance cover the costs of the t4r wheels? Have a receipt & show'em it. Should cover them.

Love the new truck, I'll bet you can't wait. I have those same wheels, they are getting replaced immediately. There are a lot of these wheels on my local CL, so Toyota missed on this design. It seems as if nobody likes them.

Good luck on the deal and the truck.

They did cover them, they were stock on hit 4runner. So when insurance paid out on the total loss it covered the wheels too.

You sure there’s no damage to the wheels and tires on the runner?

Right guys, the T4r wheels came stock on the runner. I just put a new set of falkens on it a month ago so I asked about reimbursement for the tires and they said I could take the wheels and tires as long as it was sitting on other wheels when I was done. I’m pressed for time but I’m hoping I can find some cheap factory spares at a junk yard somewhere this week. I really prefer the trail wheels. Not to mention the brand new falkens.

I decided to get another Tacoma because I missed a manual trans, and I can always use a truck bed. I definitely need to get some clazzios and seat heaters pronto though. The 4R seats were amazing.
