LOL first time I’ve welded a dick actually! It was just too easy with this thing. I didn’t realize how bad my other welder/settings was until I used this one. I have a great appreciation for it.

Did you ask just how warranty claims are handled ?

Not like it comes as a shock when they tell you the welder needs to be shipped on your nickle across the country .

    Best of luck

He said “yep, just bring the old welder in and we’ll swap it out for a new one in store” when I asked him.

What coupon did you have/use? Most of their coupons seem to exclude the titanium/Vulcan welders...and other good items.

I’ve been considering picking up the 140 or the 170.

Use this site and search for the part number. Used it to save $20 on the welder and $10 on the welding cart. No need to print them out. They can scan your phone or type it in manually.

So I gave the HF notcher another try. Too bad the hole saw is not deep enough for the 2in tube. I'll give it a try on vertical I think it'll work better.

@Rakso Looks like the lower bushing of the shaft has been pushed out of its' bore? If it is you could have gnarly cuts and ruined cutters. Take it back to HF for replacement or refund.

I am still learning so much about fabrication.... I’m so slow!!

I think I’m ready to burn in all the joints. Got the wings adjusted and capped, and cut the shackle mount holes this afternoon.

Might press hard to finish welding tomorrow. we will see.

The gap between the body and bumper is a bit big, wish I had made that tighter, but for my second fav project I’m feeling :muscleflexing:

Great job man. Bumper looks great. Plan on leaving it like that or welding any hoops on or anything extra? Not that it needs it. Just wondering. Looks great and simple how it is

    Thank you

I would like to add some hoops, fog lights, and a winch, but I am waiting to make cutouts for those until i have them. It’ll prob be a while before those get purchased.

Yes it has. Too late for returns/refunds. Already welded a plate to it.
