@Rakso Use some JBWeld epoxy (not the quick setting stuff) to get that bushing stuck in place. You'll need to remove the shaft in order to clean any oil or grease from the inside of the tube. also clean the outside of the bushing. Put the mixed epoxy on the flange and about halfway up the side of the 'hat'. It wont take very much epoxy to do this.

Just experiment with your different settings see what changes what works best.

Myself I use only .023 wire with those little welders does it come with those drive rolls ??

Does your owners manual give you a source for the consumables ??

 

Funny I find when things like that happen at work it is because everyone things all the youngins should be as smart as the rest of us after doing these things for 40 years.

Best is putting covers back on after they tighten each fastner as it gets put in.

 

Just got my new grinder. My chop saw will be here tomorrow.

 

Is that a 4-1/2" grinder? It looks different from my 4". I have a 4-1/2" cordless dewalt I use also. One has a flap disc on it and one is for cutoff wheels.

They are. It’s a great grinder. A brand that is rarely brought into the conversation but should be.

 

Since we’re on the topic of grinders, I have the older, discontinued version of this Milwaukee one and love it. With an 11 amp motor, it tears through anything. It was actually intimidating to use when I first got started.

Got my chop saw and tested out the grinder. Love them both!

 

O man you better not mention the chop saw! Now all you will hear is how a cold cut saw or bandsaw is the only way to go

 

Lmao I already know this but this is the best bang for the buck and suites my needs at the moment. I'll eventually get both of those things haha.
